EWA HAUTON

Ewa Hauton, an artist born in Poland, began her fascinating artistic journey by studying Fine Arts in her native country. Her connection with the art world dates back to her childhood, influenced by her mother, also an artist. In 1990, she brought her passion to France, where she expanded her horizons and earned a diploma in Art Direction in advertising.

From her early steps, Hauton demonstrated exceptional talent, winning the prestigious "Les étoiles de la peinture" award in her first year in France. This distinction marked the beginning of a diverse and vibrant career, where Hauton explored a wide range of creative disciplines, including graphic design, scenography, and plastic expression, alongside her passion for painting.

Over a decade ago, Hauton made the decision to dedicate herself exclusively to painting, a pivotal moment that transformed her art. Her work focuses on the moving body, especially the female form, exploring the very essence of life and expression through ink and oil.

Masterfully, Hauton uses ink to create black and white works, sometimes enhanced with touches of color to capture the essence and vitality of the subject. Her paintings, executed on large-scale canvases in oil, reveal a fusion of painting and drawing, where she plays with media to convey a sense of dynamism and energy.

Through her art, Hauton invites the viewer to contemplate the beauty and complexity of the human body in motion, exploring themes of identity, femininity, and emotional expression. Her innovative approach and technical skill have established her as a prominent figure in the contemporary art scene, where her ongoing pursuit of truth and beauty continues to inspire and captivate audiences worldwide.
